QQEnglish Seafront Campus: Host OF Horiemon Day Who is Horiemon? Horie Takafumi, born October 29, 1972 is a Japanese entrepreneur who founded Livedoor , a website design operation that grew into a popular internet portal. He is popularly known as Horiemon due to his resemblance to Doraemon , the chubby robot cat in the popular magna series cartoon in Japan. HIU Summer Camp at Seafront Horiemon also established Horiemon Innovation University (HIU), the largest online salon in Japan. HIU is an online salon that business-minded people, game players, and otherwise motivated and creative people gather and exchange ideas. Recently, HIU held a summer camp at QQEnglish’s Seafront Campus on July 4th and 5th. This was HIU’s first overseas camp, so they were all very excited.
